We believe that everything we have comes from God and we should seek to offer every part of our lives, including our money, in His service.

As the Bible says,

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. ”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7

As a church, we suggest giving at least a tenth of your income away and that a percentage of this should be to the local church you are part of.

At St Lawrence’s we want others to know our generous God who gave His life for us and it is the generosity of our church family that enables us to pursue this.

Regular giving allows us to budget more effectively, and so is incredibly helpful. If you have access to online banking, you can set up regular giving through Standing Order, or one-off gifts by BACS transfer.
