The ‘church’ is not a building or a human institution but the new people that God has brought into being! The family of God!
Each person that trusts in God’s promise of new life in Jesus becomes part of the new family; connected by His Spirit with believers all through history and all over the world!
This newly created family displays God’s amazing wisdom in bringing together people from all different backgrounds and uniting them. Not one of us is better than any other, each of us stands at the foot of the cross giving thanks to God for saving us. Having been made new, we are now to show God’s goodness in all we say and do as we journey through this world looking forward to our home with God and His people forever.
God’s church is to have an expression in each generation and setting and what a privilege and joy it is to be the people of God in Skellingthorpe today!
