Loving Jesus Christ flows into living a life of sacrificial love just like Him. We are now His disciples - His ‘learners’!

The wisdom of how to do this comes, again from His Word, prayer and meeting with other believers and we can only seek to grow in His likeness by the power of His Holy Spirit.

LOVE JESUS CHRIST

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength.” This, says Jesus is the greatest commandment.

When we come to Him in repentance and faith, Jesus brings us into relationship of love with our Father God by the Holy Spirit.

He made this possible by His amazing love in dying for us on the cross. We grow in our love for Him and respond to Him in love by listening to Him in His word and and obeying Him.

“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

It is through believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved from God’s wrath and into a relationship with Him that begins now and goes on forever.

And so, we want others to know this salvation too!

As our lives begin to reflect Jesus more and more and as we share the good news of His death and resurrection with others, we pray that God would bring many more, in Skellingthorpe and beyond, in this generation and the next, out of darkness into His wonderful light.
